The first stage of the research expedition "Karelia - the North Pole - Greenland" finished on June 6, 2013.
The main task of the expeditionary project was to carry out the unprecedented transition across the Arctic with dog sledge and to run the research program. The explorers Feodor Konyukhov and Victor Simonov are the participants of the transition. The purpose of the first stage was to overcome space of the driffting ices from the North Pole to Greenland. The next stage was the rise on the Greenland ice armor and then its crossing from the north to the south. Nobody passed such a route on dogs.
